What is Reiki

Reiki is an ancient Japanese relaxation technique and healing modality. The recipient comes to a relaxed position while the practitioner channels light energy through my crown chakra through his/her hands to the different areas of your body, mind, and soul. It is a deeply relaxing and gentle healing practice. Reiki energy is pure, soft, and peaceful. It impacts everyone differently but is never harmful. Most clients experience deep relaxation. They sleep better in 10-12 minutes than they have in years. Others have said they feel warm, calming energy. One client said it felt like cool Listerine for her soul. I have helped clients navigate through past trauma and forgive deep wounds.

Mikao Usui developed reiki in the early 1900s, deriving the term from the Japanese words rei, meaning “universal,” and ki, which refers to the vital life force energy that flows through all living things. Reiki is used worldwide, including in hospitals and hospices, to complement other health treatments.

The benefits of combining Mind, Body, and Soul have been limitless and lasting. Most people are not prepared to address many of the mental barriers and issues that have built in their deep consciousness, so by working on all three, I can usher in more foundational changes and paradigm switches. The benefits have been limitless because I am never truly aware of all clients are dealing with. I have seen people decide to change career paths, walk away from horrible habits, and leave abusive or unhealthy relationships and jobs. Internal work always bears the most external fruit.

Does Reiki conflict with religious beliefs?

No, Reiki does not conflict with any religious practices. It is pure energy. Just like we gain power from the sun, food, talking with friends, or hugging a loved one. Most religions believe in laying on hands or praying for to their higher power. We depend on the electricity ⚡️ to work when we turn on the light and never question if it is against a religious practice because we repeat it as energy 😉
